How to Use Page Links

Use Page Links to follow detected drawing references. Use the Pages tab when you want to browse without a reference. Page Links starts on for new projects unless your Takeoff Settings use another default.

Follow a page link

Section titled “Follow a page link”
  1. Open a drawing in Takeoff.
  2. Turn Page Links on in the canvas layer controls.
  3. Select a highlighted reference.
  4. Review the linked page.
  5. Return to the first page.

Change the default

Section titled “Change the default”
  1. Open Takeoff Settings.
  2. Find Takeoff Page Defaults.
  3. Turn Page Links on or off.
  4. Create a project to use the new default.

You can now follow drawing references and control the default for new projects. Next, use the Pages tab to browse pages directly.
