How to Review an Aerial

Review an aerial before you create its takeoff page. Use Advanced Edit when the parcel boundary needs a split or exclusion zone. Find the property and confirm its parcel boundary first.

  1. Confirm that the parcel boundary follows the property edge.
  2. Select Center on parcel if you need to recenter the map.
  3. Select Advanced Edit to open Parcel Boundary Manager.
  4. Select each parcel row to review its boundary.
  5. Double-click a parcel name if you need to rename its page.

Bobyard marks an oversized parcel in red. The parcel row also shows a warning when the area requires splitting.

  1. Open the provider menu.
  2. Select Google Maps, Vexcel, or Nearmap when available.
  3. Open the date menu when you use Vexcel or Nearmap.
  4. Select Latest or an available capture date.
  5. Review the imagery inside every parcel boundary.

The Preview Imagery notice means Bobyard shows a reduced-quality preview. Bobyard uses full-resolution imagery in the takeoff.

You now have a reviewed parcel and imagery selection. Next, edit the aerial or select Create Aerial Image.
