How to Use the Pages Tab

Use the Pages tab to open and organize pages in a takeoff. Use Files to include a removed page again. Open a project with at least one included page before you start.

Open and organize pages

Section titled “Open and organize pages”
  1. Open the project in Takeoff.
  2. Open the Pages tab.
  3. Select a page to open it.
  4. Right-click a page to open its menu.
  5. Select Rename to change the page name.
  6. Select Duplicate to create a copy.
  7. Select Star to mark the page.
  8. Select Move to Folder… to organize the page.

Hold Control or Command to select separate pages. Hold Shift to select a page range. Menu actions apply to the selected pages.

Manage a page

Section titled “Manage a page”
  1. Right-click the page.
  2. Select Exclude to omit its measurements from the estimate.
  3. Select Include to add its measurements to the estimate again.
  4. Select Copy Measurements to… to copy measurements to another page.
  5. Select Export as PDF to download a PDF page.

Copy Measurements to… is available for one selected page. Export as PDF is available only for PDF pages.

Remove or delete a page

Section titled “Remove or delete a page”
  1. Right-click the page.
  2. Select Remove from Takeoff to keep the page in Files but remove its measurements.
  3. Confirm Remove Page.
  4. Open Files if you need to include the page again.

Select Delete when you no longer need the page. If the page has measurements, confirm Delete Page. Bobyard deletes pages without measurements immediately.

View an aerial panorama

Section titled “View an aerial panorama”
  1. Open an aerial page in Pages.
  2. If Panorama View is available, turn it on.
  3. Select the compass button beside Panorama View to rotate the panorama 90° clockwise.
  4. Turn off Panorama View to return to the aerial page.

For Nearmap pages, Bobyard checks panorama availability before it shows Panorama View. If no panorama imagery is available, the switch is disabled. Hover over the disabled switch to see No Imagery. An aerial page can have overhead imagery without panorama imagery.

You can now navigate and manage the pages in your takeoff. Next, download or print takeoff pages.
