How to Run the Room Detection Model

Use Room Detection for enclosed rooms without schedule matching. Use Advanced Room Detection for automatic material matching, or manual Area for unclear rooms. Set the scale first.

Complete the task

Open AI Workbench.
Select Room Detection.
Choose the page.
At Draw Room Dividers (Optional), select Run.
Correct room boundaries.
Add the accepted rooms.

Room Detection skips Add Schedules (Optional). Its review does not use schedule matches or wall callouts from schedule matching.

Combine room areas before acceptance

If Confirm Room Area shows separate areas for one room, use Combine before you add the accepted rooms.

Select the first room area in the room list.
Hold Ctrl (Windows) or Command (Mac) and select each additional room area on the same page.
Select Combine.
Review the combined boundary before you accept the room.

Combine creates one area around the selected room areas, including the space between them. The areas do not need to touch. The new boundary can fill inward corners and holes, so check it against the drawing.
