How to Use Aerial 2.0 Workflows
Use this workflow when you need imagery choices or multiple parcel sections. Use the basic setup flow for one parcel with the default imagery. Create the project before you start.
Define the capture area
Section titled “Define the capture area”- Open the project Files page.
- Select Create Aerial.
- Search for the property address.
- Confirm the parcel boundary.
- Draw the parcel boundary if Bobyard cannot find it.
- Select Advanced Edit when the parcel needs sections or exclusions.
- Use Split boundary or Zone Editor as needed.
Select the imagery
Section titled “Select the imagery”- Open the provider menu.
- Select an available provider.
- Select Latest or an available date for Vexcel or Nearmap.
- Accept the Nearmap End User License Agreement if Bobyard asks.
- Review the reduced-quality preview for each parcel.
If a parcel is too large, select Auto-Split or Manual Split. Each parcel becomes a separate aerial page.
Create the takeoff pages
Section titled “Create the takeoff pages”- Double-click a parcel name in Parcel Boundary Manager if you need to rename its page.
- Select Create Aerial Image.
- Wait for Bobyard to create all aerial pages.
- Select Go to Takeoff when the button appears.
You now have full-resolution aerial pages for the selected parcels. Next, create edging or add other measurements.
