How to Set the Drawing Scale

Set the page scale before you create line or area measurements. Use an existing scale when it is already correct.

Complete the task

Open the drawing in Takeoff.
Select Scale.
Choose a standard scale or calibrate a known distance.
Enter the distance and unit.
Apply the scale to the required pages.
Confirm the scale.
